Homework

Snack time

We will provide students with an opportunity to have a snack during the day.  Please feel free to send your child with a healthy snack at this time.  We do have severe peanut allergies this year, so we ask that their snacks be peanut free.  We do, however have a peanut free table at lunch, so students are welcome to eat peanuts in the cafeteria.

For reading homework, students will be expected to complete their reading log and their reflection activity to go along with it.

Math homework consists of students completing their classwork at home if not in class.

Science homework will not be daily, but students may be asked to reflect on an investigation completed in class or do some vocabulary review.

College Shirt Tuesday

As of this school year, we invite all teachers, students, staff, and visitors to wear a college t-shirt on Tuesdays. This will help spark some interest in different universities and help students to look farther into the future and set goals for themselves as well as begin thinking about scholarships and what they need to do to get to the college of their dreams! (Not to mention represent their parents' Alma Matter)
